An American freight transport company has been cleared of violating the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) after it fired an alcoholic employee. The case went to the US Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Con-way Freight fired an alcoholic employee by the name of Ostrowski (the plaintiff) after he violated a return to work

Professor David Nutt says drugs policy is “dishonest” and “unjust”

New law introduces drug tests for Russian students
From December 2013 students in Moscow will be required by law to be tested for drug abuse. The tests will be done in two stages, the first being a questionnaire designed to indicate psychological problems related to substance abuse. The second stage is a medical test to determine if the student has been taking drugs.
