New Psychoactive Substance Tests
The Psychoactive Substances Act 2016 (PSA) came into force on 26 May 2016 and created a blanket ban on the production, distribution, sale and supply of psychoactive substances in the United Kingdom for human consumption. Since then the open sale of products has virtually disappeared but the illegal sale of these compounds continues both on our streets and on the dark web. Matrix Diagnostics provides an array of instant New Psychoactive Substance Tests (NPS) which can either isolate an individual NPS drug or exists in a combination of other recreational drugs and their synthetic equivalents. NPS tests are available to screen for Carfentanyl, K2/Spice, 1st Generation, 2nd Generation and 3rd Generation, synthetic cathinones such as Monkey Dust, Bath Salts, Mephedrone, MDPHP and α-PVP that have been widely publicised in the media.
